Golf Course

Among its facilities the hotel features a 9-hole golf course, overlooking the sea and the horizon of the Picos de Europa. Here at the golf club you can learn as well as play:

• Golf lessons for beginners, experienced players and groups
• Lessons for individuals and groups
• Businesses and groups
• Register with the Spanish Golf Federation Lessons taught by professional player and instructor.

Our golf course is divided into two parts, consisting of 7,8 / 1,2 and 9 holes, in the Northeast, often conditioned by the wind from the Cantabric sea, and, the other part, consisting of the remaining holes, where the orography protect the wind significantly, and consequently, the game.

The field was opened in 2002, is located 100 meters above the sea, between Cantabric sea and the Picos de Europa. It's plenty of native tree species that are integrated with the landscape of golf course, making the golf game a wonderful experience.

The course is perfectly suited on the orography, built into a natural environment, isolated from urban centers. As a result of integration with nature, our golf course is perfectly adaptable to any golfer, regardless of the level of the player. In the golf course, we have the following services such as, driving range, rental of all equipment, Pro-shop, organizing competitions among others.

Free Wireless Internet connection (WIFI) in the public areas

Our priority is to provide the best service, that's why we offer our guests sleeping in the hotel free WiFi connection in the public areas of the hotel (Hall, restaurant, coffee-bar).

In the rooms, offering a good broadband service is expensive, so we are pleased to provide you with the most efficient, powerful and secure connection at a reasonable price:

• Price 1 hour: 6,20 euros
• Price 24 hours: 10,50 euros

Buffet Breakfast

The most important meal of the day is breakfast, so our breakfast buffet will provide everything you need to get your day off to a flying start: typical products for a Mediterranean diet, pure olive oil from a number of different regions, several types of bread, top quality jamón serrano, seasonal fruit, cereals and products for special diets. Because we want you to feel at home.

Mini Club Abby

To give the young members of the family a fabbyulous holiday. The abba Comillas Golf Hotel has created the Mini club Abby, an entertainment programme of activities for children aged between 4 to 12 y ears old.
Accompanied by a professional group of assistants, children can take part in manual skills activities, educational games and sports in the open air, while discovering Comillas and Cantabria.

Indoor heated pool

The hotel features a swimming pool heated to 24-28° and surrounded by seats and sun loungers which enjoy plenty of natural light and panoramic views. Guests may also hire towels or bathrobes.

Gym

In the abba Comillas Golf hotel we also think in your health, for this reason, we put you on through our gym, where you can keep on fit or relax.

Finnish Sauna

We have a Finnish (dry) sauna in the changing rooms, complete with lockers and hairdryers.

Massage Services

The abba Comillas Golf hotel offers a massage service provided by a qualified masseur. Relax, release tension and stress, and recharge your batteries.

Jacuzzi

This warm pool includes:

• Side jet for horizontal hydro massage.
• Air bubbles for vertical hydro massage.
• Waterfall effect to ease the neck and back.

Scottish shower and rainforest shower

A Scottish shower is a pressure contrast shower, alternating between hot and cold water, used to boost circulation and tone and de-contract the muscles.
A rainforest shower is a warm shower incorporating hot and cold jets and aromatherapy. It’s used at the end of a session to relax and tone the muscles at the same time.

Turkish Bath

We have a Turkish bath with aromatherapy/chromatherapy shower aimed at improving respiratory health, cleansing the skin to open the pores, as well as stimulating visual senses by way of a set of lights which change colour and intensity.

Footbath

Our footbath consists of a contrast bath aimed at the legs and feet, using cold and heat while visitors walk over stones. It is used to stimulate blood circulation.
